Origins & Identity: An Exploration of Your Authentic Self is the 2nd Segment of the International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Certification Training and is open to all Kundalini Yoga teachers. Segment 1 – Foundations of Kundalini Yoga Therapy: Principles and Practices is a pre-requisite before participating in this segment.

This is the course to take if you want to know how Kundalini Yoga works!

 In this 6-day energetic training full of “Aha!” moments, you will discover, explore and experience how each unique element of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation works and how these form an alchemy of transformation.

What you will learn:

  • The 14 Main Paired Meridians and their Function in Asana, Bandha, Mudra, Drishti and Kriya
  • The Shen of each Meridian and its role in health and well being
  • Meridians, Mantra and Movement as the Basis of Kriya
  • The Application of Drishti, Mudra, Asana, Bhanda, Pranayama and Mantra to Meridian Flow
  • The Relationship of Asana and Bhanda to the 5 Main Prana Vayus
  • How to Chant a Mantra Correctly for the Fullest Experience

Elements and Alchemy of Kundalini Yoga is a segment in the 1,120 hour International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Certification Training and is open to all Kundalini Yoga teachers.

This segment develops an in depth understanding of the muscles and joints of the body; how to complete an assessment of imbalances and how to utilize asana/kriya to increase flexibility and range of motion, strengthen and support the structural system.

In This Course You Will Learn:

  • Understand various contributors to musculoskeletal ailment, injuries and pain such as the manner of breathing and postural and movement habits
  • Identify the different roles of muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and cartilage in musculoskeletal discomforts
  • Understand the therapeutic application of asana for recovery from structural ailments, injuries and pain.
  • Assess students structurally to create treatment protocols and a yoga program to help bring the body into balance and recovery.

Functional Yoga Therapy for the Structural System is the 5. Segment of the International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Certification Training and is open to all Kundalini Yoga teachers.

When we cultivate our own relationship with death, we become free to live fully, fearlessly, and with joy. In these four days you will develop your capacity for presence as you gain skill and understanding into the powerful yogic approach to facing death and transforming grief.

In this course you will learn:

  • What happens when we die from the yogic understanding of death
  • Sound current and the Praan Sutra
  • Tattvas, Ten Bodies, Blue Ethers and the process of conscious dying
  • The Sacred 17 days after the soul leaves the body
  • Yogic response to suicide and sudden death
  • What happens when we die from the medical perspective of death
  • End of life decision making
  • Grief Recovery as a process of integration of change and key decisions

International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Certification Training
Open to all Kundalini Yoga Teachers and Yoga Therapists from any tradition.

Unraveling The Knot includes Kundalini Yoga methods but all yoga teachers and yoga therapists from any tradition will benefit from the content.

In This Course You Will Learn:

  • The science and ancient yogic tradition of how these 4 aspects of human physiology – stress, pain, inflammation and sleep – are entwined and sometimes entangled.
  • Through the technology of Kundalini Yoga and yogic lifestyle, you will untangle and liberate the source of these conditions to restore health and vitality.

Open to all Yoga Therapists from any tradition. Foundations of Kundalini Yoga Therapy: Principles and Practices is a pre-requisite. Unraveling the Knot is a segment in the 1,120 hour International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Certification Training and is open to all Kundalini Yoga teachers.

Learn how to teach trauma informed
Kundalini Yoga to people recovering from Post-Traumatic Stress

No matter what the cause of the trauma, movement through Kriya, breath and mantra are
time-tested approaches clinically demonstrated to be effective in helping people reconnect
with their body, reduce symptoms, and provide the support to move from a state of
reactivity to an experience of safety and calm.

At the end of the training you will be able to:
1) Identify the indicators of Post-Traumatic Stress and what is necessary for
recovery.
2) Understand the impact of trauma on the brain, glandular and nervous systems
and how a specific practice of Kundalini Yoga restores healthy regulation to these systems.
3) Gain skill in methods to co-regulate with your students and clients
4) Skillfully apply your language and manner as a teacher to deliver a Trauma
Informed, evidence based therapeutic Kundalini Yoga curriculum.
5) Gain skill in helping a person who has been activated to safely restore calm and
presence.

An evidenced based 10-week Trauma Informed Kundalini Yoga curriculum for a group
course is provided.

This training is solely for professional development and is not intended as a supportive
treatment for those who have experienced trauma. Talking about trauma, even in the
context of a professional training, can be activating. We encourage those who seek to
include the practice of Kundalini Yoga as part of their trauma recovery to take the evidence
based 10-week course taught by one of our graduates.

Participation is open to Level 1 Certified Kundalini Teachers who have taken Foundations of
Kundalini Yoga Therapy: Principles and Practices.

How exactly does asana work with the meridian system? As a yoga teacher, its so important to understand this system; the deep medicine of the meridians and energy points in the body and how they influence yoga with Japa Kaur Khalsa.

Migraine sufferers know that this disease has many faces and there is no one way to cure it. In this workshop we explore migraines, how they present and how therapeutic Kundalini Yoga can offer support with Atma Jot Kaur.
