Who are these courses for?

These courses are open to all Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teachers and certified yoga therapists from any tradition. Several are also open to yoga teachers from any tradition.

The credit hours and tuition cost for these open courses can be applied toward the 300-hour Bringing Kundalini Yoga into Healthcare therapeutic training for Kundalini Yoga teachers who wish to complete the 300-hour certificate requirements as Part One of our 800-hour International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Professional Training.

Continuing Education

These courses also serve as Advanced Professional Development Credits through the International Association of Yoga Therapists, Continuing Education Units through Yoga Alliance and contact hours for nurses as required by the California Board of Registered Nurses.

A curriculum for a 8-week yoga course for participants of different health conditions is part of the course materials.

In this 4 day training you will:

This segment develops an in depth understanding of the muscles and joints of the body; how to complete an assessment of imbalances and how to utilize asana/kriya to increase flexibility and range of motion, strengthen and support the structural system.

In This Course You Will Learn:

  • Understand various contributors to musculoskeletal ailment, injuries and pain such as the manner of breathing and postural and movement habits
  • Identify the different roles of muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and cartilage in musculoskeletal discomforts
  • Understand the therapeutic application of asana for recovery from structural ailments, injuries and pain.
  • Assess students structurally to create treatment protocols and a yoga program to help bring the body into balance and recovery.

Functional Yoga Therapy for the Structural System is a segment of the International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Professional Training.

Anxiety and depression are among the most common struggles of our students. In this training you will develop the specific skills a Kundalini Yoga teacher needs to compassionately and effectively serve people with these concerns. Movement through Kriya, breath and mantra are time-tested approaches clinically demonstrated to be effective in helping people reconnect with their body, regain vitality, restore ease in their life, reduce symptoms and in many cases, fully recover. A review of related yoga and meditation research and curriculum for group and private classes are provided.

In This Course You Will Learn:

  • The relationship of the brain, glandular and nervous systems to anxiety and depression
  • How the Prana Vayus, Chakras and Ten Bodies provide avenues for transformation
  • How Pranayam, Mantra & Kriya regulate recovery
  • The latest yoga and meditation research on anxiety and depression
  • How to support the transition from anxiety and depression to calm, confident energy.
  • Curriculums for Kundalini Yoga teachers for each condition are included.

This is an In Person Training! Learn how to teach trauma responsive Kundalini Yoga to people recovering from Post-traumatic stress.

No matter what the cause of the trauma, movement through Kriya, breath and mantra are time-tested approaches clinically demonstrated to be effective in helping people reconnect with their body, reduce symptoms, and provide the support to move from a state of reactivity to an experience of safety and calm.

At the end of the training you will be able to:

  1. Identify the indicators of Post-Traumatic Stress and what is necessary for
    recovery.
  2. Understand the impact of trauma on the brain, glandular and nervous systems
    and how a specific practice of Kundalini Yoga restores healthy regulation to these systems.
  3. Gain skill in methods to co-regulate with your students and clients
  4. Skillfully apply your language and manner as a teacher to deliver a Trauma
    Informed, evidence based therapeutic Kundalini Yoga curriculum.
  5. Gain skill in helping a person who has been activated to safely restore calm and
    presence.

An evidenced based 10-week Trauma Responsive Kundalini Yoga curriculum for a group
course is provided.

This training is solely for professional development and is not intended as a supportive
treatment for those who have experienced trauma. Talking about trauma, even in the
context of a professional training, can be activating. We encourage those who seek to
include the practice of Kundalini Yoga as part of their trauma recovery to take the evidence
based 10-week course taught by one of our graduates.

When we cultivate our own relationship with death, we become free to live fully, fearlessly, and with joy. In these four days you will develop your capacity for presence as you gain skill and understanding into the powerful yogic approach to facing death and transforming grief.

  • What happens when we die from the yogic understanding of death
  • Sound current and the Praan Sutra
  • Tattvas, Ten Bodies, Blue Ethers and the process of conscious dying
  • The Sacred 17 days after the soul leaves the body
  • Yogic response to suicide and sudden death
  • What happens when we die from the medical perspective of death
  • End of life decision making
  • Grief Recovery as a process of integration of change and key decisions

Open to Level 1 Kundalini Yoga teachers and yoga teachers and Certified Yoga Therapists from any tradition plus interested yoga practitioners and healthcare professionals. 

This course explores ethical living through the lens of yogic philosophy, emphasizing self-awareness, personal values, and shared understanding within professional communities. Designed for yoga teachers and therapists working in healthcare, it bridges yogic principles with modern ethical practices in clinical settings.

Through a multifaceted approach, you’ll deepen your understanding of self-reflection, ethical communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration. You’ll also gain practical skills in boundaries, confidentiality, power dynamics, and scope of practice.

By the end, you’ll develop a personalized action plan and create a unique ethical oath to guide your work with integrity and clarity.

Kundalini Yoga is known to be effective for the nervous system. In this workshop you will learn how the Polyvagal Theory can offer you helpful insights to inform you on how to best find calm in times of stress & trauma, with Siri Bhagwati Kaur.

How exactly does asana work with the meridian system? As a yoga teacher, its so important to understand this system; the deep medicine of the meridians and energy points in the body and how they influence yoga with Japa Kaur Khalsa.

Migraine sufferers know that this disease has many faces and there is no one way to cure it. In this workshop we explore migraines, how they present and how therapeutic Kundalini Yoga can offer support with Atma Jot Kaur.
