At the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology, we recognize that it takes more than medicine to get well. We bring the ancient practices of Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, and Healthy Behaviors into modern medicine as important components of full health recovery.
We believe that everyone has the right to live a healthy, happy, and fulfilled life. Our mission is to help people achieve this, even when faced with serious medical challenges.
We accomplish this by working to transform health care and by bringing hope and empowerment to people with life threatening illness, chronic conditions and mental health challenges and their families.
The Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine & Humanology provides:
- Direct client services in health education, Kundalini Yoga Therapy, and emotional support
- International Accredited Kundalini Yoga Therapy training to Kundalini Yoga teachers and health professionals
- Research on the effects of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation on health outcomes
As those teaching Kundalini Yoga therapeutically, and as Kundalini Yoga Therapists, it is our intention to treat everyone with respect, compassion, and kindness, and to support the highest ethical standards. We are committed to living up to these principles and to strengthening our organization’s ability to meet our commitment to these values and to one another.
As Kundalini Yoga Therapists, we recognize the effects and trauma caused by systemic injustices against under-represented peoples across the globe. In our work, we honor the worth and dignity of every human being. We endeavor to create safe space, engage with neutral presence, and listen deeply to all voices. We commit to understanding injustice more deeply, so we may continue to self-educate, grow, and change the systems with which we interface.
