Gain an understanding of the anatomy and basic physiology of the nervous system along with common diseases related to this system. Learn the yogic perspective, understand the allopathic approaches and develop the ability to create an individual plan of care for nervous system disorders utilizing a Kundalini Yoga Therapy approach.
In This Course You Will:
- Anatomy and basic physiology of the nervous system.
- Common diseases related to the nervous system and allopathic approaches including pharmacological approaches for:
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA)
- Epilepsy
- Movement Disorders-Parkinsons’s and Cerebral Palsy
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
- Contraindications for clients with disorders of the nervous system.
- The yogic view of the psychology of disorders of the nervous system.
- How to develop an individual plan of care for nervous system disorders utilizing a Kundalini Yoga Therapy approach.
Anatomy and basic physiology of the endocrine system as it relates to healthy glandular processes.
- Basic Allopathic approaches for:
- Diabetes
- Hypoglycemia
- Thyroid Conditions
- Contraindications for clients with glandular conditions.
- The yogic view of the psychology of glandular conditions.
- How to develop an individual plan of care utilizing a Kundalini Yoga therapy approach.
- How to apply the Kundalini Yoga Therapy group curriculum for diabetes

- Demonstrate a basic understanding of common digestive conditions and allopathic and pharmacological approaches for:
- Irritable Bowel Disease (IBS)
- Colitis
- Constipation
- Crohn’s Disease
- Celiac Disease
- Contraindications for clients with digestive conditions.
- The yogic view of the psychology of digestive conditions.
- Develop an individual plan of care for digestive disorders utilizing a Kundalini Yoga therapy approach.

Class Format

In order to receive a certificate of completion, participation for the full duration of the course, including class discussions and breakout rooms and completion of homework are required. When on Zoom, camera will be on unless agreed upon with faculty.
