Sangeet was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Toronto, majoring in vocal performance including opera.
She has composed and recorded several CDs of music set to Sikh scriptural poetry and mantra. She has also traveled to teach voice and mantra during Kundalini Yoga teacher training workshops and loves helping people find their true voice through the chanting experience. Harjinder Singh of Canada, accompanies Sangeet Kaur on almost all of her CDs.
